The Hymn of the Awakening
The oldest known lyric in existence. It is believed to be the first spoken words of the Primordials, recorded not in ink, but carved into the living bark of the Crownwood itself. It establishes the "Naming-Magic" that defined the Golden Age.

Abstract
The First Lyric; a record of the Primordials' awakening and the naming-magic that defined the early cosmos.
Text
I. THE SILENCE
We woke in the Silence.
The Silence was heavy, a mouth with no tongue.
We were the Dreamers, minds without shape.
We drifted in darkness, unanchored.
II. THE FIRST WORD
Then the Arbor spoke.
It spoke not a sound, but an Anchor.
It said: **Stand**, and we felt the Root beneath our feet.
It said: **See**, and we saw the Crown above our heads.
We learned that to Name is to Make.
III. THE NAMING OF PARTS
We looked at the Burning-White and named it **Seidra**.
It became Law.
We looked at the Deep-Black and named it **Orkrin**.
It became Depth.
We looked at each other, the bright and the deep, and named ourselves **Vaedrin**.
We became the Speakers.
IV. THE OATH OF SHAPING
We are the children of the Word.
Our tongues are chisels. Our breath is wind.
What we speak, stands.
What we name, lives.
We speak, and the Silence becomes Song.
