Thursa
The Sessile Custodians. Thursa are the sentient manifestations of the Deep Arbor's geology, existing in a symbiotic state with the Glimmerloam.
The Rite of the Glyphic Hall: Their memory is spatial. They carve their Ephemera into the stone walls of their Warrens. To Remember, a Thursa must return to the halls of their home, touching the inscribed glyphs to induce the Recollection. A Thursa exiled from their home is effectively lobotomized.
The Severed State: To leave the Glimmerloam, a Thursa must shear their own root. This is a traumatic amputation that leaves them "bleeding" essence. A Severed Thursa is finite; they must eventually re-root or die.
