The Ascended. Formerly mortal Nascents who conquered the Veilbound Cycle, metabolizing enough friction to exceed the gravity of death. They are the "New Gods" of the Resonant Epoch.

The Adaptive Lattice: Unlike the Primordials, whose magic is limited by their nature (Memory), the Essendir view magic as Code (Knowledge). They possess an unmatched plasticity, allowing them to learn and master Arts foreign to their origin. In exceptional cases, they are beings capable of bridging the Primal, Arcane, and Humoral disciplines, a fact that terrifies the Old Guard.

Despite their power, they are Haunted. They remember the weakness and fear of mortality, a collective trauma that makes them ambitious, insecure, and at times, cruel in their perfection.
